Ayushi Sharma
Hey! I'm Ayushi Sharma, a Mental Health Professional supporting individuals and couples aged 18-45 through anxiety, depression, trauma, personality concerns, and relationship difficulties. My practice is rooted in a humanistic lens and eclectic approach, trauma-informed and queer-affirmative. I pair careful assessment with gentle, attentive therapy - making room for clients to show up honestly and explore at their own pace. When I'm not in session, I'm usually somewhere quiet with my thoughts, singing along to whatever's playing, hunting for the next show to fall into, or chasing a small adventure somewhere new. Intellectual conversation is a love language. Therapy with me tends to feel warm and unhurried- light where it can be, slow and exploratory where it needs to be.
Graduate of MSc in Clinical Psychology, with a Bachelor's in Psychology (Honours); selected as Student Representative on the Psychological Sciences Student Council.
Conducted research study on sexting attitudes, sexting behaviour, emotion regulation difficulties, and risky sexual behaviour among Indian emerging adults.
5+ years volunteering with a youth-empowerment chapter, facilitating workshops on mindfulness, mental health, and menstrual awareness, alongside clinical internships supporting children with cancer, autism, and special needs.
Trained in mental status examination, projective testing (Rorschach, TAT, SCT, DAPT), IQ and cognitive batteries (WAIS-IV, Bhatia, MISIC, NIMHANS SLD), and neurodevelopmental screening (CARS, ISAA, M-CHAT, Vanderbilt).
