Dr.Nishtha Wadhwa
Hello! I'm Dr. Nishtha Wadhwa, a therapist and medical doctor. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, stress, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and relationship difficulties with compassion and understanding. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their experiences openly.
My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and eclectic, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while always tailoring sessions to each client's unique needs and goals. I believe in collaborating with clients to build practical skills, foster resilience, and support meaningful, lasting change that aligns with their values and well-being.
When I'm not working, I enjoy curling up with a good book, watching movies and web series, spending quality time with my pets, and connecting with nature. In therapy, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly while working toward growth, healing, and self-understanding.
Published multiple research papers in national and international journals.
Volunteer experience with a crisis counseling helpline, children's education initiatives, and animal welfare organizations.
Professional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
