Farhana Niaz
I am a Counselling Psychologist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I work with the age range 12-60. I work with adolescents and adults, providing a supportive and confidential space to explore challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem difficulties, and relationship concerns. Drawing from cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches, I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and goals.
Outside of my professional work, I find joy and balance through creative and mindful pursuits. I love reading and writing, which allow me to connect with new ideas and reflect deeply on human experiences. Dancing, especially Kathak, helps me express emotion through movement and stay grounded in the present moment. I also enjoy tutoring high school students in psychology — it's incredibly rewarding to inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners as they begin to explore the field
