Rajkishore Mishra
Hello! I'm Rajkishore Mishra, a mental health professional who works primarily with middle-aged and older adults, supporting them through life's transitions, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and the unique experiences that come with different stages of life.
I believe that every individual deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and respected. My approach is rooted in empathy, patience, and genuine human connection. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts and emotions while developing practical ways to navigate life's challenges.
I am particularly interested in helping individuals manage stress, cope with change, strengthen relationships, and build emotional resilience. I see therapy as a collaborative process that helps people reconnect with their strengths, gain new perspectives, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
For me, therapy is not just about overcoming difficulties—it's about helping people reconnect with their strengths, discover new perspectives, and build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
After spending more than two decades in the corporate world, I found myself increasingly drawn to understanding people—their stories, emotions, motivations, and the challenges they face. What began as a natural curiosity about human behaviour, combined with a genuine desire to help others, eventually led me to the field of Counselling Psychology.
As I reflected on my own experiences and interactions over the years, I realized how meaningful it is to support people through difficult times and help them discover their own strengths. This inspired me to pursue a Master's degree in Psychology from IGNOU. I have also completed a Diploma in Life Skills and Emotional Intelligence, which has further strengthened my understanding of emotional well-being and personal growth.
My journey into psychology is both a professional and personal one, driven by a belief that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges.
I am passionate about community service and have actively participated in community drives, school-based educational initiatives, and support activities at old-age homes, experiences that have enriched both my personal and professional growth.
