Hello! I'm Salome Stanley, an Associate Psychologist at Heart It Out, practising under supervision, who believes healing begins with feeling heard. I support adolescents and adults navigating emotional, behavioural, and relationship concerns with compassion and understanding. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while drawing on trauma-informed principles and DBT-informed skills. I have experience working in school, hospital, and rehabilitation settings, with a growing interest in couples counselling. I am passionate about helping individuals cultivate self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful connections.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy singing, learning guitar, spending time with my family, travelling, and exploring different cultures. Therapy, for me, is about creating a space where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
